Presentation

From the experiences of social museology developed in the research project “Memories Trees” in Mozambique, we propose a meeting point on the diversity of knowledge and actions in the world and a space for recognition of the ecology of knowledge in the positioning of each participant for to promote cognitive justice in the context of learning for educational communities.

From a “ciranda” of memory and through (learning circles)the method of the sociodrama, we developed a work on the reification of memory and production of social innovation from the biographical experiences of the participants. The laboratory seeks to facilitate the creation of a moment of learning based on the experiences of participants’ life histories, their social experiences and their communities.

From the look of self and the other are summoned to experiences of self-weaving group memories through the recognition of diversity in the construction of narratives. The recognition of difference is a pretext to work on the different processes that are present in the group. Each member of the group is invited to recognize the difference as an exercise of self-recognition and of their role in the group.

It is hoped that at the end of the laboratory work the group will recognize itself as a set of actors with capacity for action and transformation, capable of recognizing and resolving their conflicts and that this recognition be presented through an adequate communication process. From the cartography of the memory and the local knowledge of the communities, the communication process is stimulated through the use of cognitive and emotional skills appropriate to each moment of the learning process

Through the Heritage Education Laboratory, it is possible for the school community to be an active and participatory agent in the construction of their essential learning through the mapping of the patrimonial references of the learning community and its integration in the production of didactic resources for meaningful learning.

The Creative Lab of Patrimonial Education “Tree of Memories” is a meeting space for linking knowledge in a school context, which seeks to create awareness of itself in the relationship with others in the context of the essential curricular learning, stimulated the interaction between different disciplinary approaches, seeking to integrate curricular flexibility.

The laboratory starts from the identification and diagnosis of the relevant issues and problems at any given moment for the participants of the learning community in its relationship with the essential learning, and seeks, through a project work methodology, to identify and answer the questions posed through the process appropriate to the learning context using the appropriate communication tools. It is sought through the procedures of inclusive creation to promote the use of endogenous resources of the schools in a sustainable way and promote process of relationship with the educational community.
