Revolutionary Soviet Pedagogy

The Soviet Pedagogical Experiences

Soviet pedagogical experiences, which develop after the Russian Revolution of 1917, are marked by a strong reflection on work and social action. The initial proposals for a new revolutionary school were to transform the bourgeois school into a school where the “new revolutionary subject”, protagonist of the new world, was formed.

It was therefore necessary a school that broke with the past and to create schools that corresponded to this new ideal, a school that could feed the solidarity and transforming social movements of society. A new school that goes beyond the alienation produced by the bourgeois school and allowed to create a new society based on equality and fraternity.
